Credits represent your usage-based budget on Tracenable. You use credits when you retrieve data via APIs or the Data Exporter. Each time you retrieve data this way, you are making what we call a request, which is defined by a dataset, a company, and a reporting period. When you make a request, Tracenable returns all available data points matching those inputs and charges you once for that request. Each dataset has a fixed, one-time credit cost per request. For example, requesting all GHG emissions data for Apple for the 2025 reporting year counts as a single request and costs $1.50 in credits.
