The Data Engine for Precision Scope 3 & Supplier Intelligence

Carbon accounting platforms face a "granularity wall." Most rely on generic EEIO (Environmentally-Extended Input-Output) factors to estimate Scope 3 emissions. While useful for a first pass, these average factors fail to reward green procurement: if a customer switches to a premium, low-carbon supplier, their spend goes up, and paradoxically, their calculated emissions go up too. This breaks the logic of decarbonization.

To compensate for this lack of granular performance data, many platforms integrate Climate Targets (like SBTi status) as a proxy for supplier maturity. The assumption is that a supplier with a "Committed" badge is a green supplier. However, this creates a new blind spot: a target is merely a statement of intent, not proof of action. Knowing a supplier has a target tells you nothing about whether they are actually hitting it.

Without both Company-Specific Emission Factors to fix the calculation math and Target Progress Tracking to validate supplier promises, your users are left with a static view. They cannot accurately calculate their purchased goods, and they have no evidence that their supply chain is actually decarbonizing.
